As the world grappled with the pandemic, and every day felt like Groundhog Day, fate and a friend decided to play matchmaker. Thus, we unexpectedly found ourselves connected through the digital realm, with video calls and awkward virtual backgrounds. Little did we know that life would lead us to one another, separated by miles but united by a stable internet connection.

Days turned into weeks. After a month of talking late into the night, learning about each other's quirks, dreams, and fears through pixelated images, our connection blossomed, defying the limitations of geography. We decided to brave the real world and meet in person – talk about an upgrade!

But reality soon set in, reminding us of our situation – we lived across the country from one another, each deeply rooted in our own lives and commitments. It seemed impossible for anything more to come out of our delightful encounter.

However, life had other plans, and through a series of serendipitous events, Chavah'le moved to New York, and ended up just a short distance from where Yossi lived.

What began as lucky proximity soon grew into a friendship that felt natural and fun. We began adventuring together, having the best of times.

In the quiet moments between shared meals and late-night conversations, we realized that what we had was something rare and precious and decided to give our relationship another chance. This time, with the intention of building something enduring and meaningful together.

We've navigated ups and downs, supporting each other, healing, learning how to be better partners for one another, and growing with each passing day. Our love has become the foundation on which we are building our future. And our relationship, a tapestry woven from threads of acceptance, respect, and unwavering commitment to our healing, to one another, and to the life we are building together. (We love therapy, by the way :))

Soon, we will stand side by side, surrounded by our friends and family at our wedding, as we commit publicly to one another, our love, and the continuation of our story.
